Marist Graduate and Adult Bachelors Commencement Ceremony

Event Policy: Marist Students Please input your CWID into the Passcode field to reserve your tickets. You must be eligible for Commencement to reserve your tickets.


Each graduating student may reserve up to 6 tickets to the ceremony. All seats must be reserved by Tuesday May 14th. After this date, unreserved tickets will become available on a first-come first-served basis through Hometown Tickets.

There are two types of tickets a student can reserve for the commencement ceremony.

  • General Admission Tickets (seating is first come, first serve)
  • Accessible seating (limit 2 per students)

Please note that there is limited accessible seating on the floor of the Arena. Guests are advised that some seating in the arena is on bleachers. 

The College is also providing indoor locations around campus that will stream the event for guests who do not have a ticket or for guests who would like to sit inside to view and join their graduate after the ceremony. Indoor viewing locations include Donnelly Hall, Fusco Recital Hall, Nelly Goletti Theatre, and the Cabaret. No tickets are required for the indoor viewing areas


Event Day Schedule

5:00 p.m. Seating Opens at McCann

5:15 p.m. Graduates report to the Recreational Gym for Line-up

5:30 p.m. All guests are recommended to be seated

5:45 p.m. Graduate procession into McCann Arena

6:00 p.m. Ceremony begins

Marist College 78th Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

Please note that there will be live remote viewing locations on campus in the Murray Student Center and Donnelly Hall for guests who do not have tickets or wish to remain indoors. Those locations do not require tickets for entry.

9:15 a.m. Graduates Line-Up between Lowell Thomas Quad and the Hancock Center

10:15 a.m. All Guests are recommended to be seated.

10:30 a.m. Graduate procession onto the Campus Green

Event Policy: Be sure to present your ticket at the event for entry. You may print out your ticket or show on your mobile device.

Doors open at 5 pm and the show starts approximately at 7 pm.

Parking is available in the McCann parking lot, but will fill up quick. Additional parking is available in Donnelly, Beck, and the Visitor lot near Midrise. Shuttles will be available to those who cannot find parking in McCann.

Pre-show activities will be available for viewing in front of the house at 6 pm up until the start of the show, so please feel free to walk around those rooms.

**Proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Marist Fashion Scholarship Fund, which awards outstanding Marist Fashion Students in both merchandising and design.**

    • Cash and Marist Money are still accepted in person at the Student Activities Office.
  • The QR code you are emailed after sale must be scanned at the Student Activities Office in order to claim a Regal Ticket Voucher.
  • Hometown Tickets QR Codes are not valid for entry at any Regal Cinemas, a voucher must be picked up ahead of time.

Please join the Class of 2024 as they celebrate in style! Events are open to Class of 2024 members cleared to walk in commencement exercises in Spring 2024. Please use the eligibility checker listed separately in HomeTown prior to ticket sales to confirm eligibility to purchase tickets.


Specific event details are listed in the description of each event ticket.


STANDARD EVENT POLICIES:

  • Tickets are NOT transferable between students - YOU MAY NOT RESELL YOUR TICKET TO ANOTHER STUDENT
  • PLEASE USE YOUR CWID AS YOUR PASSCODE - THERE IS A ONE (1) TICKET PER STUDENT LIMIT
  • Tickets must be returned prior to the event on specified date in ticket level to be eligible for a refund
  • Refunds will only be issued if the event sells out and your ticket is resold prior to the date of the trip
  • If transportation to/from the off campus venue is NOT NEEDED, please come to the Student Activities office located in the Murray Student Center to fill out and sign a Change of Transportation Form
  • A waitlist will be opened for each event  AFTER it has sold out.
  •  Waitlists can be found on the Student Activities Linktree page and will go live at 10pm, Sunday, 4/21 for Broadway and Baseball or 2 hours after the event sells out, whichever is later. Please note, waitlists will go live at 10pm (or 2 hours after events sell out) on all other event sales dates for tickets sold that date. Entries are for Marist Students only.

Please join the Class of 2024 as they celebrate in style! Senior Formal is open to Class of 2024 members cleared to walk in commencement exercises in Spring 2024 as well as one guest of their choice. Please use the eligibility checker listed separately in HomeTown prior to ticket sales to confirm eligibility to purchase tickets.

If only a student ticket is purchased, the passcode to unlock the Guest Ticket level will be sent in the confirmation email. Guest Ticket passcodes are specific to each student and may not be shared. Students may also purchase a student and guest ticket package without needing an additional guest passcode.


The schedule for the evening is as follows:
5:30 pm

•Buses begin to depart from Beck Place - food and beverages will not be permitted on the bus or allowed into the venue
6:30 –7:45 p.m.
• Open Cocktail Social and hors d’oeuvres
8:00 – 9:45 p.m.

•Buffet tables open
•Bar closes
9:45 p.m.

• Cash bar begins
10:30 p.m.

• Viennese dessert table opens
11:00 p.m.

•Buses begin to depart from The Grandview
