Marist College Dance Ensemble Presents: "LIGHTS UP" (Sat. 11/23)
The Marist College Dance Ensemble invites you to their Fall Showcase, “LIGHTS UP,” a compilation of 25 student-choreographed dances. This show includes contemporary, ballet, hip hop, tap, musical theater, jazz, modern, and Irish step!

Ticketing Information:
PRE-SALE TICKETS FOR MCDE MEMBERS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR GENERAL ADMISSIONS SALES FORM 11AM - 11:59PM ON MONDAY, 11/11. ALL PRE-SALE PASSCODES ARE ELIGIBLE FOR 2 TICKETS IN TOTAL ACROSS BOTH SHOW DATES.
TICKET SALES WILL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AT 11AM ON TUESDAY, 11/12.
Tickets are $7 for students, faculty, and alumni (with a valid CWID/passcode)
General public tickets are $12.
All seating is general admission. If handicapped accessible seating is needed, please contact danceensemble.club@marist.edu after purchasing tickets.

Run time for this show is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes with an intermission.
Doors open 1 hour prior to show time.
Marist College Dance Ensemble will be hosting a 50/50 prize drawing to benefit Sandy Hook Promise as well as collecting donations of personal care items for Hope on a Mission. Flowers and MCDE merchandise will also be on sale at the venue.
Please note, only cash will be accepted for the above items.
Concessions may be purchased separately at the McCann Center Café.

Show Synopsis:
This semester, our showcase is titled “Lights Up.” We chose this title to represent our passion and love for the art of dance. Our showcase will not only light up the stage, but it will light up our dancers with brightness and positivity. Dancing brings life, cheer, and happiness to our members. We strive to bring these feelings of excitement to our audience members through our performance. “Lights Up” encapsulates the beauty in the emotions of dancing and sharing our art with our family and friends.
MCDE has spent weeks creating and perfecting every part of this show and are so excited to finally put it on stage. Thank you for buying tickets and we hope you enjoy the show!
